Bronx fireplace: FDNY firefighter injured battling burning dwelling within the Wakefield part
WAKEFIELD, The Bronx (WABC) — A firefighter was injured whereas battling a fast-moving fireplace at a house within the Bronx on Wednesday.
FDNY officers say the hearth broke out round 8:40 p.m. on the primary ground of a two-story dwelling positioned at 647 E. 229th Avenue between Carpenter Avenue and Lowerre Place within the Wakefield part.
About 25 models and 106 fireplace and EMS personnel responded to the scene.
Firefighters have been in a position to get the blaze underneath management round 9:50 p.m.
One firefighter suffered minor accidents and was taken to Jacobi Hospital.
