Wockhardt Q1 Outcomes: Internet loss narrows to Rs 16 crore

Drugmaker Wockhardt on Friday reported a web lack of Rs 16 crore in Q1FY25 led by improved efficiency of its UK and rising markets.

The Mumbai-based drug maker reported a web lack of Rs 136 crore in Q1FY25.

Income rose 14% year-on-year (y-o-y) to Rs.747 crore in Q1FY25 in comparison with Rs.658 crore in Q4FY24.

The EBITDA for the quarter is Rs.100 crore registering a development of 216% y-o-y, whereas the EBITDA margins improved 860 foundation factors to 13.4%.

The UK enterprise that constitutes round 37% of income grew 12% y-oy to Rs.276 crore in Q1FY25.Rising markets enterprise which contributes 26% of income rose 44% to Rs 191 crore. India branded formulation rose 23% to Rs 123 crore.
