Trump Threatens Federal Staff: Authorities Shutdown Updates

NPR stories on how the Trump administration is displaying messages on company web sites blaming the Democratic Celebration for the federal government shutdown and speaking such messages internally, actions that will run afoul of ethics legal guidelines:

A vivid pink banner and pop-up message first appeared Tuesday on the Division of Housing and City Growth’s web site. It was up to date early Wednesday morning and warns: “The Radical Left in Congress shut down the federal government. HUD will use accessible sources to assist People in want.”

Wednesday morning, a banner added to the highest of Division of Justice web sites reads “Democrats have shut down the federal government” with a hyperlink to its shutdown plans.
