Six injured after hearth in Washington Heights – NBC New York

On Wednesday, a three-alarm hearth impacted a residential constructing and left a number of injured, in line with the New York Metropolis Hearth Division.
The flames broke out at 65 Fort Washington Avenue, between West 161st and 162nd Streets, at round 7 p.m.
The fireplace affected three flooring of the house constructing, and precipitated six whole accidents, together with to 4 firefighters and two civilians. All have been reportedly non-life-threatening accidents, per the FDNY.
In line with hearth officers, 138 hearth and emergency medical service personnel arrived on the scene.
Firefighters managed to quench the flames at round 8:33 p.m.
The reason for the fireplace was not made public.
