NYC taking pictures scare: Consumers huddle in again of SoHo retailer fearing energetic shooter
SOHO, Manhattan (WABC) — Lauren Porcelli and her good friend Nicole Vawter huddled with different clients behind Zara in SoHo – their day of buying on Saturday was a day of panic.
“She locked eyes with somebody who stated that he had a gun. So the following factor we all know, we’re getting trampled and pushed into the again nook of the room,” Porcelli stated.
First responders rushed to the shop on Broadway simply after 3 p.m. as clients inside the shop thought the worst.
“It was scary, and I really feel like with all of the incidents which have occurred with weapons I the previous couple months and years – you do not query it,” added Vawter.
Police say there was no energetic shooter, however clients would later discover out a retailer safety guard was hit within the head with a bottle. He was faraway from the shop, bleeding on a stretcher.
Police sources say the guard confronted two males who he thought had been stealing. They got here again and hit him over the top.
