NYC Crime: 3 officers injured from shattered glass after photographs fired on Staten Island
PORT RICHMOND, Staten Island (WABC) — Three officers have been injured after photographs have been fired on Staten Island.
It occurred at 7:30 p.m. Sunday on 294 Richmond Avenue in Port Richmond.
Police say a Nissan SUV fled a police cease and was stopped by one other marked police automobile. The 31-year-old suspect then fired photographs from inside his automobile, hanging the marked police automobile.
No officers have been struck by gunfire, however three officers have been take to the hospital for minor accidents from shattered glass.
The suspect then crashed right into a parked automobile and was taken into custody.
Police say they didn’t hearth their weapons on the suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.
