Kentucky stuns LSU in OT with gutsy 2-point conversion
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Quarterback Kenneth Minchey ran untouched for a 2-point conversion after C.J. Baxter scored on a 1-yard run to elevate Kentucky to a 35-34 extra time victory over No. 10 LSU on Saturday evening.
LSU (4-2, 1-2 Southeastern Convention) scored first in extra time when quarterback Sam Leavitt scored on a 15-yard run and so they made the additional factors.
Kentucky (5-1, 3-1) compelled extra time when Adam Zouagui kicked a 33-yard area aim with 12 seconds left in regulation after lacking area objectives of 42 and 26 yards with lower than 5 minutes to play, the second after Leavitt was sacked and fumbled.

Minchey was 23 of 36 for 246 yards passing, 206 of these within the second half. Baxter ran for 123 yards — 77 on Kentucky’s first play of the sport — and two touchdowns.
