Jennifer Egan joins Deborah Treisman to learn and focus on “Kat,” by Margaret Atwood, which was printed in The New Yorker in 1990. Egan’s books of fiction embrace “The Maintain,” “A Go to from the Goon Squad,” “Manhattan Seaside,” and “The Sweet Home.” She is a winner of the Nationwide E book Critics Circle Award, the Pulitzer Prize, and the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction, amongst different honors. She has been publishing fiction and nonfiction in The New Yorker since 1989.
