Jeff Baena dying: Author, director and husband of actress Aubrey Plaza, dies at 47
LOS ANGELES — Movie director and screenwriter Jeff Baena, who was married to actress Aubrey Plaza, has died, authorities confirmed. He was 47.
Baena was finest recognized for guiding the horror-comedy “Life After Beth,” the darkish comedy “Joshy” and for co-writing the cult basic “I Coronary heart Huckabees” with filmmaker David O. Russell.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed Baena’s dying to ABC Information.

A consultant for Plaza directed ABC Information to an article from Deadline on his dying.
The 47-year-old was found in his dwelling by an assistant, based on legislation enforcement sources who spoke to ABC Information.
The decision reporting his dying got here in round 10:30 p.m. Friday evening, the sources stated.

Baena and Plaza had been married since 2021 and incessantly labored collectively on initiatives, with Plaza starring in a number of of Baena’s movies, together with “Life After Beth,” “The Little Hours” and “Spin Me Spherical.”
