Indices: Inventory market replace: Nifty Auto index advances 0.51%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Auto index closed on a constructive word on Tuesday.

Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.54 per cent), Ashok Leyland Ltd.(up 1.86 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.07 per cent), Bosch Ltd.(up 0.62 per cent) and Bharat Forge Ltd.(up 0.36 per cent) ended the day as high gainers within the pack.

Then again, MRF Ltd.(down 1.51 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.46 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.0 per cent), Samvardhana Motherson Worldwide Ltd.(down 0.68 per cent) and Apollo Tyres Ltd.(down 0.6 per cent) completed as the highest losers of the day.

The Nifty Auto index closed 0.51 per cent up at 21662.65.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 5.8 factors at 22547.55, whereas the BSE Sensex stood up 147.71 factors at 74602.12.

Among the many 50 shares within the Nifty index, 19 ended within the inexperienced, whereas 31 closed within the purple. Shares of Vodafone Concept, YES Financial institution, Zomato, NTPC Inexperienced Power and Adani Energy had been among the many most traded shares on the NSE.
