Households displaced after fast-moving-fire destroys high ground of Jersey Metropolis residence

A two-alarm hearth destroyed a house on Bergen Avenue in Jersey Metropolis.
JERSEY CITY, New Jersey (WABC) — A smoky, fast-moving hearth destroyed the highest ground of a two-story residence in Jersey Metropolis.
Flames broke out on the residence on Bergen Avenue on Sunday night.
Firefighters needed to retreat from the constructing when the flames downed energy strains.
No accidents had been reported.
The Crimson Cross is now serving to 5 displaced households, a complete of 16 folks, with non permanent housing and different wants.
