Girl, child killed when boat overturns off Liberty Island
NEW YORK (WABC) — A 5-month-old woman and a 27-year-old lady died after a ship overturned off Liberty Island late Saturday night time, in line with police. Twelve different folks had been rescued from the water.
The boat overturned at about 10:20 p.m., prompting a big emergency response involving FDNY and NYPD Harbor, scuba and aviation models. Rescue crews pulled a complete of 14 folks from the water.
