BROOKLYN, New York (WABC) — An organization in Brooklyn is recalling among the mushrooms it sells.
The recall includes Enoki mushrooms by Hofood99 Inc.
The corporate is recalling the 200-gram packages as a result of they could possibly be contaminated with Listeria.
The mushrooms have been distributed to shops nationwide.
No diseases have been reported to this point, based on the FDA.
Officers say the contamination was found after samples have been collected from a retailer in Michigan and subsequent evaluation by the Michigan Division of Agriculture & Rural Growth (MDARD) Laboratory Division revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.
