Derrick Rose, former NBA MVP, retires after 15 seasons
Derrick Rose is asking it a profession after 15 NBA seasons.
The previous Knicks level guard introduced his retirement in on Instagram Thursday, posting a photograph of him holding a newspaper, which included a love letter to basketball.
“The subsequent chapter is about chasing my desires and sharing my development,” Rose advised The Athletic.
“I imagine true success comes from turning into who you have been created to be, and I need to present the world who I’m past basketball.
“Whether or not good or unhealthy, everybody has a ‘what if’ story of their life. Even when I might, I wouldn’t change something in mine, as a result of it’s what helped me discover actual pleasure.”
It got here after Rose, who will turns 35 in October, shared an Instagram video of him holding a rose whereas journaling, captioned: “The Renascence 9.26.24.”
The Grizzlies waived rose on Monday.
