Danny Walker, Bud Cauley went from alternates to Gamers Championship contenders
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — Neither gained the Gamers Championship on Sunday at TPC Sawgrass.
But each gamers gained on a day when no winner was determined, with Rory McIlroy and J.J. Spaun headed to a three-hole playoff Monday morning.
Neither Danny Walker nor Bud Cauley was alleged to be within the subject this week.
Regardless of each having vital ties to the realm — Cauley rising up within the shadows of Sawgrass going to the event as a child and Walker dwelling in Jacksonville for the previous 5 years — they had been on the surface trying in as alternates.
