Man sentenced to 130 years in prison in girls' murders in Delphi, IN

Delphi, Indiana resident Richard Allen was sentenced to 130 years in jail within the double murders of Abby Williams, 13, and Libby German, 14.

DELPHI, Ind. (WLS) — There’s a new push to overturn the decision for the person convicted of killing two younger women in Delphi, Indiana again in 2017.

Attorneys for Richard Allen filed a movement laying out what they imagine are errors made within the case.

They cite 4 alleged authorized missteps.

They embrace unlawful safekeeping proceedings, involving the circumstances of Allen’s custody, what they are saying was false testimony relating to the timeline and proof, an alleged confession by one other individual and forensic considerations over cellphone proof.

Final month, Allen was sentenced to 130 years in jail for the murders of Libby German and Abby Williams.
