Indices: Inventory market replace: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.5%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index closed on a destructive notice on Friday.

Shares of Biocon Ltd.(up 1.26 per cent), Glenmark Prescribed drugs Ltd.(up 0.82 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(up 0.43 per cent), Abbott India Ltd.(up 0.32 per cent) and Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.23 per cent) ended the day as high gainers within the pack.

Alternatively, Torrent Prescribed drugs Ltd.(down 2.99 per cent), Laurus Labs Ltd.(down 2.52 per cent), Mankind Pharma Ltd.(down 1.78 per cent), Lupin Ltd.(down 1.13 per cent) and Sanofi India Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent) completed as the highest losers of the day.

The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.5 per cent down at 19119.5.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 10.56 factors at 22957.1, whereas the BSE Sensex stood down 7.65 factors at 75410.39. Among the many 50 shares within the Nifty index, 14 ended within the inexperienced, whereas 36 closed within the purple. Shares of Vodafone Thought, YES Financial institution, JP Energy, NHPC and Indian Railway Fin have been among the many most traded shares on the NSE.
