Yiyun Li joins Deborah Treisman to learn and focus on “The Piano Tuner’s Wives,” by William Trevor, which was revealed in The New Yorker in 1995. Li has revealed eight books of fiction, together with the novels “Should I Go” and “Ebook of Goose,” a winner of the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction, and the story assortment “Wednesday’s Youngster,” which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 2024. A brand new nonfiction work, “Issues in Nature Merely Develop,” will probably be revealed this month.
