Violence in Gaza, Yemen and Syria Assessments Center East – and the Trump Administration

EXPERT INTERVIEW – Just some weeks in the past, the Center East appeared in a uncommon second of relative calm: ceasefires had been holding in Gaza and Lebanon; the insurgent leaders now ruling Syria had introduced order and reduction to the inhabitants, after many years of rule by the Assad regime; and for essentially the most half, from the Mediterranean to Iran, the weapons had been silent. 

That calm has been shattered in current days on many fronts – most notably in a brand new wave of aerial and floor assaults by Israel in Gaza, an insurgency mounted by Assad loyalists, and a heavy U.S. marketing campaign towards the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen.
