CHELSEA, Manhattan (WABC) — A person is in custody and being questioned after one other man was pushed onto the subway tracks in Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon.

It occurred on the southbound No. 1 tracks on the 18th Avenue station in Chelsea simply after 1:30 p.m.

The 45 -year-old sufferer was taken to Bellevue the place he’s now in steady situation.

The suspect ran away however authorities later took Kamel Hawkins, 23, into custody and charged him with tried homicide and assault. He was apprehended inside an hour after close by cameras helped determine him.

The suspect and sufferer didn’t know one another, and no phrases have been exchanged.
