Queens police-involved capturing: Man with knife shot in Briarwood, NYC
BRIARWOOD, Queens (WABC) — A person armed with a knife was shot throughout a police-involved capturing in Queens on Monday morning, the NYPD stated.
Police responded to a 911 name for stories of an emotionally disturbed individual on Parsons Boulevard in Briarwood.
Upon arrival, NYPD officers encountered a person with a knife. Officers shot the person, who was then taken to the hospital for remedy. The person’s accidents weren’t instantly thought of life-threatening, police stated.
As a result of police investigation, officers say individuals ought to keep away from being within the neighborhood of Parsons Boulevard between 84th Drive and eighty fifth Avenue. Commuters must also count on delays and heavy visitors within the surrounding space.
