BED-STUY, Brooklyn (WABC) — A person was shot within the head and killed as he retrieved his cellphone from a espresso store in Brooklyn.
Police say the sufferer returned to Each day Press on Somers Road in Mattress-Stuy shortly earlier than 3 a.m. Saturday. The enterprise was open as a result of it doubles as a nightclub.
It’s not clear when the person left his cellphone there or why he was shot.
Police recognized him as Steven Battle, 45.
