Man accused of killing UnitedHealth government indicted for homicide By Reuters

(Reuters) -Luigi Mangione, the person accused of capturing lifeless UnitedHealth Group (NYSE:) government Brian Thompson on a Manhattan avenue this month, was indicted for homicide on Tuesday, prosecutors stated.

“This kind of premeditated, focused gun violence can’t and won’t be tolerated,” Manhattan District Lawyer Alvin Bragg stated in a press release saying the indictment.

Ivy League-educated Mangione was charged with homicide on Dec. 9 for the killing of Thompson exterior a Manhattan resort earlier than an organization convention, following a five-day manhunt.
