Mamdana holds press briefing on Gracie Mansion IED – NBC New York
A confirmed improvised explosive machine was thrown outdoors Gracie Mansion, the official house of Mayor Zohran Mamdani, throughout dueling protests — one anti-Islam, the opposite counter- — over the weekend.
The lit machine didn’t explode. Officers say it may have prompted severe harm or loss of life if it had. Assessments are ongoing relating to a second machine. Mamdani and his spouse weren’t house when it occurred.
