MANHATTAN, New York (WABC) — In honor of the tenth anniversary of “Hamilton,” New Yorkers gathered in Washington Sq. Park on Thursday evening for a Lin-Manuel Miranda lookalike contest.
The contestants ready 30-second to one-minute performances.
The grand prize was a $10 invoice and a trophy.
Miranda posted on Instagram a photograph of the competition poster and mentioned that he was out of city and wouldn’t have the ability to make the competition.
