Hoboken water major break: Crews engaged on repairs at Madison and seventh streets

HOBOKEN, New Jersey (WABC) — Crews are working to restore a water major break that has shut down a number of streets in Hoboken, New Jersey, in keeping with metropolis officers.

NewsCopter 7 was above the 10-inch water major break close to the intersection of Madison Road and Seventh Road.

Hoboken officers say a contractor on non-public property struck the road Monday.

Seventh Road is closed between Jackson and Madison streets whereas Veolia Water NJ works on repairs.

Officers say whereas crews work to isolate the primary break, residents within the neighborhood might expertise water strain fluctuations whereas repairs are underway.

Officers are asking folks to keep away from the realm.
