FAA to take care of elevated in-person oversight of Boeing for ‘foreseeable future’ By Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The pinnacle of the Federal Aviation Administration will inform the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee on Thursday that the company will keep its elevated on-site presence at Boeing (NYSE:) and its provider Spirit AeroSystems (NYSE:) “for the foreseeable future.”
FAA Administrator Mike Whitaker will inform senators the company’s choice to spice up inspections after the Jan. 5 Alaska Airways Boeing 737 MAX 9 in-flight emergency is now everlasting, in accordance with a replica of his written testimony seen by Reuters.
