EMS staff taken to the St. Barnabas Hospital after responding to name within the Bronx

BRONX, New York (WABC) — A number of EMS staff had been rushed to the hospital after being attacked within the Bronx on Thursday.

It occurred round 10 p.m. at 1889 Sedgwick Ave. between West Tremont Avenue and West 179th Avenue after EMS responded to a name.

Police say three EMS staff had been assaulted.

They are saying a person was taken into custody.

All members are mentioned to be in secure situation.
