An American Airways regional jet with 64 folks aboard collided with a army helicopter close to Washington D.C.’s Ronald Reagan Washington Nationwide Airport on Wednesday night time, the Federal Aviation Administration mentioned.

The PSA Airways Bombardier CRJ700 regional jetliner collided with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter whereas the passenger jet was on method round 9 p.m. ET to Runway 33 on the airport, the FAA mentioned. Flight 5342 was arriving from Wichita, Kansas.
