Man charged with homicide after lady discovered unconscious with head trauma in Central Park
CENTRAL PARK, Manhattan (WABC) — A person was arrested and charged with homicide after a 63-year-old lady was discovered unconscious with trauma to the top in Central Park on Sunday morning, police stated.
Officers responded to a report of an unconscious individual close to East Drive and East 74th Avenue at about 9:43 a.m., the place they found the sufferer.
Police arrested Jonathan Robles, 36, and charged him with homicide and prison possession of a weapon.
The lady was pronounced lifeless on the scene. The NYPD later confirmed she suffered a number of stab wounds to the physique.
The connection between the sufferer and Robles is unknown.
