A number of youngsters sickened at YMCA summer season camp in East Orange by mushroom-laced edibles
EAST ORANGE, New Jersey (WABC) — Police in New Jersey are investigating after a number of youngsters attending a YMCA summer season camp in East Orange allegedly consumed suspected mushroom-laced edibles.
The incident occurred Thursday on the YMCA summer season camp on North Arlington Avenue.
Shortly after 11 a.m., police responded to studies that no less than 13 youngsters weren’t feeling nicely.
Video exhibits Cynthia Cunningham racing her 12-year-old little one to the hospital whereas her 9-year-old sister was recording.
Cunningham says the 12-year-old was one of many 13 campers who got drug-laced chocolate by one other little one on the East Orange YMCA Camp.
A short while later, one of many youngsters who had consumed the suspected edible reported feeling in poor health. Twelve different campers later reported comparable signs.
