We now have tragic information to report from the world of music at present:

Brad Arnold — lead singer of the favored rock band 3 Doorways Down — has handed away.

He was simply 47 years outdated.

Again in Could of 2024, Arnold introduced that he was battling Stage 4 kidney most cancers.

Information of Arnold’s passing comes courtesy of a press release from his band’s Instagram web page:

“With heavy hearts, we share the information that Brad Arnold, founder, lead singer, and songwriter of three Doorways Down, handed away on Saturday, February seventh, on the age of 47,” the assertion begins.

“Together with his beloved spouse Jennifer and his household by his facet, he handed away peacefully, surrounded by family members, in his sleep after his brave battle with most cancers,” the surviving band members proceed, including:

“As a founding member, vocalist, and authentic drummer of three Doorways Down, Brad helped redefine mainstream rock music, mixing post-grunge accessibility with emotionally direct songwriting and lyrical themes that resonated with on a regular basis listeners.

“Brad’s songwriting grew to become a cultural touchstone for a era, producing among the most enduring hits of the 2000s, together with the band’s breakout hit, ‘Kryptonite,’ which he wrote in his math class when he was simply 15 years outdated.

“His music reverberated far past the stage, creating moments of connection, pleasure, religion, and shared experiences that may dwell on lengthy after the levels he carried out on.”

The assertion went on ro honor Arnold as a loving husband and all-around first rate human being:
