Man arrested, charged after 12-year-old raped in NYCHA advanced foyer in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn
EAST WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (WABC) — A person has been arrested and charged within the the rape of a 12-year-old lady inside a NYCHA house constructing in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
It occurred within the foyer of the Cooper Park Homes round 5:45 p.m. Thursday.
Police say Eric McMichael, 27, went right into a foyer in one of many buildings and grabbed the 12-year-old as she walked in, pushed her to the bottom in a close-by stairwell after which raped her earlier than working away.
The younger lady was taken to a close-by hospital the place she is bodily doing OK.
McMichael, who lives in a males’s shelter, was arrested and charged on Friday.
The sufferer’s mom spoke with Eyewitness Information on Friday and had one message.
“I simply hope he will get caught, I simply hope he simply turns himself in, like my daughter is simply 12,” the sufferer’s mom mentioned.
Her mom mentioned she is horrified this might occur to her blissful little one.
“She dances, she cares about her buddies rather a lot, good grades in class,” her mother mentioned.
The sufferer mentioned she didn’t know the person.
