Queens sexual assault: NYPD investigating after 13-year-old lady raped inside Kissena Park in Flushing

QUEENS, New York (WABC) — An investigation is underway right into a disturbing sexual assault of a teenage lady at a park in Queens on Thursday, in accordance with police sources.
The incident occurred round 4:30 p.m. at Kissena Park in Flushing.
Police sources advised Eyewitness Information {that a} 13-year-old lady was taking part in within the park with a male good friend across the similar age, after they had been approached by a person who took out a knife and compelled them into the woods.
Sources say the suspect tied them each up after which sexually assaulted the lady, and took each of their telephones. The victims had been in a position to make it exterior the park and located a bystander who known as 911.
The sufferer was taken to a close-by hospital by EMS.
